Hi! I'm Akangsha Chakraborty, an artist based in Delhi, India. I work mainly with oils on stretched canvas, creating seascapes and landscapes inspired by nature's energy and rhythm.

I’m excited to invite you to my free live class, Seascape oil painting , where I’ll guide you through creating your own stunning ocean-inspired artwork. 

My work is inspired by the energy and patterns of nature, particularly the movement of waves and the beauty of landscapes. I believe every painting holds a unique connection with its viewer, and I strive to create pieces that resonate emotionally with each person.

In this free session, I’ll guide you through the basics of wave composition—how to break waves down into simple, understandable forms. We’ll explore how light interacts with water, creating shadows and reflections, and how to capture those effects in your painting. You’ll also learn a little about colour mixing for sea tones, and the essential tools and materials used in oil painting.
